Oxyclean
So I just bought some oxyclean @ Wally world. I used it in the wash. If the boys socks are clean I'll be amazed!! I'm gonna go check. I dunno...they look ok... I don't remember how bad they were, but they are still stained. We'll see what happens if I keep using it. You know...I TOLD those boys to save me some hot water & I still hear the water going. Grrrrr.....

I am not sure what this is...I stumbled across it looking for the Oxyclean people to praise them for this miracle stain remover.
Many people say that they haven't had any luck with it...me personally can't say enough good about it. If you pour HOT water into a bowl with the powder first and disolve it the Oxylcean works better. I just received some dresses from an Ebay auction that I won that came stained. I threw it in Oxyclean and Wahlah, it's perfect. The best story I have yet is about a white sweatshirt type shirt that my daughter wore five years ago and got stained with chocolate all over the front. I couldn't bring myself to throw away this cute top...I got to looking at it the other day after saving my ebay dress and threw this five yr.old stained top into some Oxyclean...WAHLAH!I could hardly believe my eyes, it was clean and white again. Top saved.
Anyway, good luck to all you stain fighters.

Have you ever heard of putting bleach in water to keep fresh flowers fresh longer? I didn't want to risk that with 4 kids, a dog and a cat to have it knocked over and ruin something. Well, I put a scoop of oxyclean in instead. Those cheap cut flowers from the grocery store lasted almost 1 MONTH!! What a way to keep the love alive and fresh!

I used oxy clean on my white carpet on a pet stain. I ruined my rug! There is this huge brown cirlce. The original stain was only a little yellow, and now I have this huge brown circle in the middle of my white bedroom rug. I am really ticked-off! Everyone says use it on your rug and I did and now I have to replace my rug. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER

I never used it but the commercials are so annoying, I have no doubt that they are overhyped, I cant stand that oxyclean guy, and their shitty kaboom, orange crap, and what not commercials.

I'm not trying to start a debate or anything but Oxy is a very wonderful product and has done me wonders. I was in the middle of my wedding reception right before I was going to cute the cake!!! And one of my best friends from High School was drinking a little to much and threw a glass of red wine all over me and on my 2,000.00 dress. I was fearious and everything right. Well my mother came up stairs with the Oxy clean. It took the stain right out and I back down stairs with my wonderful Husband and was ready to cut the cake...

Oxyclean works fine for me. I use it mostly for old blood and/or grass stains on jeans and brights.
The only catch is that the water has to be near boiling for Oxyclean to work at it's best.
